Life Centers

Life Centers

What: baby blankets & hats

When: ONGOING; we will donate them to Life Centers a couple times a year

How many: as many as you want to make

Details:
Baby blankets: need to be light to medium weight, they can be square or rectangular, recommended sizes for newborns are: 32″x36″ to 36″x44″; they can be knit, crochet, or made of fabric: cotton, flannel, fleece; quilted or tied

Hats: newborn size; they can be knit, crochet, or made of fabric: cotton, flannel, fleece

Notes: For knit or crochet, use Caron Simply Soft (acrylic yarn), soft baby yarn, or other yarn that is soft and comfy.
When using fleece, use only one layer, two layers would be too hot.

*Important* Please pre-wash your fabrics, especially cottons, in warm water, and dry in dryer to pre-shrink! There’s nothing worse than putting all that work in a project just to have it shrink and be too small, or the colors run all over everything! (Believe me, I’ve done it!)
